[Knave quietly nudges him away from the giant hellcest...]

I'm cure-free, so I guess that's what I'll have to do.

[Goes to nudge Crown with his foot, as the rest of the Carnelian hero's form vanishes.]

"Anyway, I think that should be everything for now. I'll try to make sure none of the recent changes fall out of place.

You should get moving before your hunger starts to spike again."

[Shakes head]

"Only Zero can do that."

[nods]

"You have your key so you should be able to get back to that area without any problems, right?"

[Heading back to the academy then?]

[Going to assume he's not going to want to chat with Yuuki much again and will just head for True Heart's door...]

Anyway, Zero is back at his shimmering fear wall again, just gazing. It seems just a tiiiiiiiiny bit weaker than the previous visit.

And Ace's bloodlust disappears entirely again.]

[oh, well, that's nice. heading over~]

[Turning at the sound of his approach, not fully distracted.]

"You took care of Crown?"

[deadofknight]

Yeah, I took care of it.

[hunting]

[Breathes out in relief and holds out a hand, still looking pretty weary but looking slightly less destroyed compared to earlier.]

"Good."

[deadofknight]

[taking Zero's hand '-']

[hunting]

[Squeezing their fingers tightly and pulling him closer.]

"... I trust you, you know that, right?"

[deadofknight]

I know.

[hunting]

"Things won't ever be easy but... I want you to trust me too. I'll keep trying until you don't have to doubt..."

I won't doubt you anymore.

[hunting]

"Okay."

[A more content smile and then leaning forward to kiss Ace softly, as the area around them starts to fade rapidly, signaling the end of the dream...]
