錐生 零 Kiryuu Zero

Lyncis now has a lovely set of a fangs that will be quite visible whenever he opens his mouth more than a little bit such as screaming/laughing. If your character would recognize vampire fangs, these are definitely those.

SKILL 1 - WEREKITTY

Thorn can use Brother Deer's ring to transform into a snow leopard for four hours each day. The snow leopard has the same abilities as any normal snow leopard, except Thorn can still talk in this form. Because it's magic. Don't question it.

Notable Traits:
Appearance:HUGE tattoo on the left side of his neck and a much smaller black sword encircled in rose thorns on the underside of his right arm. Also, both ears have three piercings (which will be more obvious once he gets his jewelry back), the top cartilage of the left and the bottom of the right.

He also has fangs, which are very noticeable when he screams or laughs. Anything that requires him to open his mouth a bit really.

Leopard Form: He also has a snow leopard form that's good for about four hours each day. The snow leopard also has silvender eyes. This is enabled by the golden ring he always wears on a chain around his neck. The leopard form has regular leopard abilities and no benefit from his eventual vampire status. But it can handle sunlight, which his vampire state can't.

Specific to Lyncis: In general, Lyncis is always wearing his golden ring necklace and his huge Barghest red star-shaped gem collar, regardless of form.

Memory 58: Winter discovery for the twins

I honestly have no idea why I marked this as a positive. At best, it should be a neutral. I think it's marked this way because it's a happy memory of Ichiru and Zero loving each other.

Memory starts here and ends on Page 12.

What he learns?
- Ichiru dropped out of being a Hunter. Not surprising.
- Ichiru told him he needed only his love. Also... not surprising... And a lot of conflicted feelings about this...
- Ichiru said he couldn't tell Shizuka was a vampire when they first saw her. He also thought she was beautiful.
- Sick Ichiru...
- Ichiru believed he (Zero) hunted vampires to make up for Ichiru's weakness since he (Zero) was too kind for the task.

What this means in Aather?
Conflicted Ichiru feelings are always conflicted, especially now that Thorn truly believes his (Zero's) love was the only thing Ichiru ever wanted and that everything he did was to force Zero to give up on that guilt and just see him as Ichiru and not someone he hurt by being born. Also, damn Kaname for putting Shizuka into their lives and causing this whole miserable cycle.

Memory 57: Supporting Yuuki in becoming Kaname's girlfriend aka ZERO HAS FUCKING PROBLEMS

What he learns?
- Yuuki was originally afraid to ask Kaname what he knew about her past, even though she trusts him.
- He helped her confront Kaname on this issue so Kaname wouldn't try to dodge the conversation.
- Kaname still tried to dodge the question, saying it would make Yuuki happier to not know, despite how much Yuuki pleaded. God, Kaname is an ass.
- Kaname was afraid Yuuki would hate him if she knew the truth. What the hell is he even talking about? Yuuki could never hate Kaname. Even he (Zero) knows that.
- Kaname said he would give Yuuki her answers if she became his lover.
- Yet hearing that made him (Zero) more wary than ever.
- The Night Class decided to protect Yuuki because of her new position.
- He told Yuuki she had to bear with it if being with Kaname was what she wanted. But he wanted her to remember his warning. What warning? He was pretty pissed off so he can guess it has to do something with Kaname making Yuuki into a vampire since she was still human back then... A whole lot of good that warning did.
- Aidou said he researched Kaname's past and all evidence about the death of Kaname's parents had been destroyed. Aidou was worried Yuuki was in danger.
- Kaname kept toying with Yuuki about telling her things. :E
- And of course Kaname eventually told him to leave, despite having asked for both of them in the first place. Bastard. He probably didn't even tell Yuuki anything.


What this means in Aather?
So much hatred to Kaname for this whole mess and what Thorn sees as Kaname using Yuuki's feelings for him to manipulate her, just like he manipulates everyone. He does wonder whether Yuuki ever got her answers once Kaname turned her into a vampire to save her mind. He also wonders what Kaname's past has to do with Yuuki and what the actual deal with them being siblings means since he's pretty sure they're not blood-siblings. Ugh, he hates this entire memory. Screw Kaname. And screw himself for allowing Kaname to string Yuuki along on this topic for as long as he did. He should've just forced him to tell! But then Yuuki... UGH.

Memory 56: Challenging Yuuki

What he learns?
- The Hunters are trying to convince Yuuki to tell the president to let Kaname kill all the purebloods as he wished. Of course, Yuuki refuses.
- Kaname has a Hunter's weapon? Is that the sword he was wielding in his memory of their other fight.
- The Hunters, Kaitou included, think it's better if just Yuuki is left surviving since she is a pureblood who cares about humans.
- He protected her from the Hunters?
- Yuuki believes he (Zero) doesn't feel the same way about purebloods as the other Hunters, even though he tells her he does.
- He tries to shut her up by threatening to shoot her, but Yuuki doesn't react and just tells hm to shoot her if she's wrong.
- Sara was watching. :E
- Sara has a secret. That can't be good.

What this means in Aather?
Thorn is bothered at the idea of the Hunters using Yuuki against the president, even if he questions a lot of the president's methods, especially after his last memory of Sara turning those schoolgirls. He is also highly pissed that Kaname is running around with Hunter weapons since his filth shouldn't even touch them. It does relieve him to know that he stood up against the Hunters for Yuuki. But he's unsure about Yuuki's statement that he doesn't really hate all purebloods. While Thorn doesn't want to hate, the purebloods seem to have given Zero little reason to feel otherwise, outside of Yuuki. But he can't deny that hatred of any kind always messes him up inside, to the point where he has to ignore those qualms and force himself forward if he wants to accomplish some of his harsher tasks. That Yuuki believes this so strongly that she would challenge him to shoot her really shakes him though. Not that he ever would. Thorn is used to Zero's style of scaring people away by now.

But what could Sara's secret be?
