[You feel a tug, insistent, demanding and desperate. Powerful enough that it seems it intends to rip you out of existence itself. And there is sensation of a barely restrained exasperated breath echoing in your ears you're taking too long, idiot...

Then it suddenly stops, the halted motion launching you face-first into a giving surface.]

[it's okay, these are the types of things I handle best. s-sucking in a deep breath and slamming down his poker face, before he climbs to his feet and traverses further into the maze]

[Upon your recovery, brief or otherwise, you'll see the maze branches into two paths: left or right. The left has a set of adult footprints leading into the maze, the right has a child's. Threads have been cleared in both directions.]

[pauses at the fork, before taking the right pathway, following the child's footprints]

[You go right and reach another fork. As you do, that voice whispers to you.]

"Take the left. There's been... a change. Maybe you'll have a chance to make up for your mistake, hmmm?"

[but going left]

[You go left. There is a bingo card in your path.

"Right."

[stops to pick up the bingo card before taking that right]

[You feel a heightened sense of FRUSTRATION when you touch the card. :x]

[You continue right until you reach an area where the ground is inexplicably covered in snow. In fact, an icy wind is blowing through the maze now, pushing snow in every which way. There's some tiny flecks of blood here and there in the snow and maybe footprints, along with the child's. There's also tiny pawprints.

There's also another fork.]

[listens for the voice again, and when it doesn't come, starts kicking around in the snow a bit to see if anything is buried in it]

"There are footprints... Maybe you should try those."

[MUST NOT SNARK AT THE HELPFUL VOICE. . . checking the footprints now]

[As you follow the prints, the snow gradually disappears as the air grows hotter. You eventually reach the exit. It's obvious threads here have been yanked away. You hear the sounds of animals fighting, snarling and hissing. In the distance, you can see the Ring...]
