Memory 19: Encouragement from Yuuki
Memory goes here through Page 22. Skip parts without Zero.
What he learns?
- Him and Yuuki are working together again, even though she's a vampire now. This makes him feel much better about whatever differences they apparently had in the past. He still feels conflicted about it in this memory, but just seeing her smile... That's what matters. She still trusts him. And vice-versa. Yay.
- He's also become a lot more "obedient" according to the headmaster. Unsuuuure.
- Kaname's trying to kill all the pureblood? WTF?
- And he has no problem with it and no interest in stopping him...
- Kaname's doing this for Yuuki?
What this means in Aather?
While he's very much relieved that him and Yuuki are on better terms, though still not entirely as close as they used to be, he's more unnerved by his total lack of interest in pursuing Kaname during his genocide of the purebloods. While Zero hates what Shizuka did to his family and hates her entirely, he has no reason to hate all of the purebloods. Also, he doesn't understand why Kaname would say he's doing this for Yuuki. It doesn't add up. Are they endangering her? Yuuki would not want this... There's also the issue that he can tell he doesn't *entirely* want Kaname to do this but part of him feels he should step aside. He's not sure if this is the Hunter in him or what. Plus, that sense of animosity toward Kaname that he still can't place...
