"Thorn" has sub-patroned with Brother Dear. So if you thread with "Thorn" in his contracted snow leopard form (he might take this during the late afternoon sometimes since it's good for an hour, among other times) and he is in a good mood or trying to reassure, he tends to make a sound like this. It's called chuffing.

IT IS THE MANLIEST BIG CAT SOUND EVER. I love it.
