What he learns?
- He's reporting to the headmaster when the man cuts himself on some broken dishware.
- Cross asks him if he wants to lick it and Zero accidentally whines about him acting too much like Yuuki.
- He tells Cross he knows that Cross knows Zero's still drinking Yuuki's blood. Cross said he does and has watched over them long enough to not miss things like that. He says he'll won't intervene, even though it's forbidden.
- He says it's fine as long as Zero still retains his sanity.
- Zero says the president at the Hunter Association told him of a way to delay his insanity.
- He also digs at Cross for knowing about both that and Yuuki's past, but says Yuuki's suspicious of someone.
- Cross asks for his permission to let Ichiru enter the Day Class.
What this means at Aather?
Zero already had suspicions he drank Yuuki's blood before so this pretty much CONFIRMS IT. And apparently it's viewed as wrongly as he thinks it is. This will probably make him more adamant against Souya's suggestions that he should drink from others. Zero has always felt something terribly wrong about drinking blood, even though it also gives him comfort and peace of mind. But yeah, this pretty much lets him know it's seen as a horrific sin, even if Cross allows it because Zero and Yuuki have decided on their course. :( Cross is a bit of an enabler, it sounds like, especially with how he tried to get Zero to drink his blood as well.
Of course, there is also the suggestion of a means to stave off his problem here. He already knows that Kaname tried to do that when he forced Zero to drink his blood, though it seems that was more of a temporary fix to when he was completely losing it. As he's fairly sure, he's still on unstable ground, there's obviously more to it than just the blood of a Kuran. Though if he's been drinking Yuuki's blood too... is this really the best he can hope for in dealing with his insanity? And devoid of both those options in Aather, how long can he hope to maintain his sanity here? :(
Also, why the hell does Ichiru want to come to his school? While part of him is stupidly desperate to be with his brother again, that other part still knows what Ichiru is capable and is damn sure Ichiru only wants this to further torment him in some way. He also knows, without even having to remember it, that he will grant the permission because it's Ichiru and no matter how much his brother hates him, he loves him and wants to know where he is.
