Anyway, Zero is back at his shimmering fear wall again, just gazing. It seems just a tiiiiiiiiny bit weaker than the previous visit.

And Ace's bloodlust disappears entirely again.]

[Turning at the sound of his approach, not fully distracted.]

"You took care of Crown?"

[deadofknight]

Yeah, I took care of it.

[hunting]

[Breathes out in relief and holds out a hand, still looking pretty weary but looking slightly less destroyed compared to earlier.]

"Good."

[deadofknight]

[taking Zero's hand '-']

[hunting]

[Squeezing their fingers tightly and pulling him closer.]

"... I trust you, you know that, right?"

I know.

[hunting]

"Things won't ever be easy but... I want you to trust me too. I'll keep trying until you don't have to doubt..."

I won't doubt you anymore.

[hunting]

"Okay."

[A more content smile and then leaning forward to kiss Ace softly, as the area around them starts to fade rapidly, signaling the end of the dream...]

[At least this is much better than their violent interruption last time...]

[Well, they can just enjoy that respite until they both wake up and have to deal with Thorn very unhappy about getting heart-jumped.]
