The blood is surprisingly easy to move through and something about it seems soothing.

[As you pet the horse, you feel overwhelmingly relaxed, probably more relaxed than you've ever been in your life. But there's also a niggling worry that it's only temporary.

That said, Lily looks likes she's tolerating this touch at best and her attention is always on that apple.]

[If you're feeling around, you might notice a bit of bark that is slightly more raised than the rest, in a sort of knob.

[As you get closer to the river, the coppery scent heightens and you might experience a slight hitch in the back of your throat. In less unnerving news, you'll notice that the river is actually not as deep as it first seemed and will probably reach up to your waist. It shouldn't be that hard to cross.

Looking past the river, you can see three paths, one resembling Wonderland's checkerboard, one made of cobblestone and one that seems barely more than some trodden grass.]
